Community Overview: Pateros
Welcome to Pateros, Washington! Located at the confluence of the mighty Columbia River and the Methow River, just 59 miles north of Wenatchee. Below we've put together a brief overview of the communities, location, and things to do in Pateros!

Things to do:
Enjoy a round of golf at Alta Lake Golf Course and then cool off in beautiful (& warm) Alta Lake! Enjoy summer nights at the Bakery. Karaoke, live music, pizza, spirits and of course; famous Sweet River Bakery treats! Join us for the annual Apple Pie Jamboree; parade, vendors, food vendors, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, jetski races & firework show (3rd weekend in July) or join us for the Pateros Hydroraces (3rd weekend in August) every year!
SUMMER
- Penninsula Park. The perfect cove to play in on the Columbia River! Swimming, children's playset, mulitple covered picnic shelters located just across from the Pateros boat launch!
- Golf at nearby Alta Lake Golf Course
- Boat, swim, hike and play all day at Alta Lake State Park
- Noteable Food: Sweet River Bakery & Kodi's Noon Saloon
WINTER
- Visit nearby Loup Loup Ski Bowl or Echo Valley Skiing and Tubing
- Snowmobiling nearby at: Black Canyon Snow Park or South Gold Creek Snow Park.
- Ice Skating at nearby Winthrop Rink (35 miles west) or X-country skiing at Methow Trails.

- Alta Lake - a beautiful community surrounding Alta Lake Golf Course and located next to beautiful Alta Lake and Alta Lake State Park. This close-knit community has annual golf cart parades for 4th of July and Halloween, potlucks, a book club, & weekly golf events; that's why so many call Alta their "happy place!"
- Lower Methow Valley - From the mouth of the Methow & the Columbia to Lower Gold Creek, the Methow Valley offers quiet, beautiful acreage with bountiful views and outdoor recreation.
